Last week, the FiveCore team had the opportunity to volunteer at the annual Goshen Chamber of Commerce golf outing. The popular event featured two 18-hole sessions in the morning and afternoon as well as some hefty raffle prizes. Though this was all exciting, the greatest benefit for us was the chance to network with other local businesses in a laid back environment.

We arrived at the Maplecrest Country Club around 7:30am and the place was already bustling with activity as eager golfers checked in. Businesses were busy setting up booths and event organizers scrambled to make sure everyone knew where to go. After checking in, we were escorted to our stations. Summer and I were assigned to help at snack stations selling raffle tickets, while Kyle was to be a hole-in-one witness. We had a great time interacting and getting to know local business men and women.

By 12:30, the first round was over thus ending our shift. Before we left we were treated to a delicious lunch in the country club. We are grateful for the connections we had made and we look forward to helping out with the Chamber golf outing next year!
